Email and Webmail
To start communicating with the outside world and let them know you have arrived you will need to set up your email. Here is the screen you see when you click on Mail:-

In each area outlined above there are brief explanations of what to do and how to do it - so you should find that these are enough for you
Webmail
You can access your webmail by typing straight into your browser - you do not have to come to the CPanel to do this - simply type in http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail and you will be presented with a choice of three different programmes in which you can read your mail. Have a look at all three and see which one you prefer! If you have opened CPanel for other reasons you can of course access the same first
Domain forwarding
A Domain Forwarder redirects all mail from any of your domains to another domain. For example, if you setup harry.com to redirect to sally.com, any email send to any address at harry.com will be sent to the corresponding user at sally.com (bob@harry.com would be sent to bob@sally.com). Any valid pop accounts existing when the domain forwarding was set up will still receive mail and no forward will be sent. In other words you need to do this before you start setting up your accounts!
Manage/Add/Remove accounts
This is mostly likely to be the space you visit most here.
Each of the different areas is self explanatory - create the name @yourdomain.com that you want to have and set a password for it. (If you want to collect your email in Outlook you will need these settings to set the account up). Go on adding accounts until you have enough - or delete them if you no longer need them. You can also here set the amount of space each account can have to store its emails.
Default address
If someone is just guessing and using any old name to try and send email to you and it isnt on your list its good to set up a rule that will deal with such events - so follow the instructions. The sender will receive back an email almost straight away saying no such address.
Autoresponder
If you want people to know you are away from email collection for a while set up a responder so that they will receive a message along the lines of "Hey , am out of the office fishing back in three weeks time" so letting the sender know they will not receive a reply for some time to come!
Filtering - is self explanatory - just set up the rules you want and what kind of things you want filtered out
Forwarders
These are useful if your main account is not on the domain you have - so for example if you are user@gmail.com and thats where you want to read all your messages you "forward" the email by pointing the email at this address to user@gmail.com
Spam assassin
Instructions are there once you open this - we would suggest you enable the spam assassin.
Mx Entry
If you wish to modify the MX entry we suggest you contact us first - not something we would recommend unless you really know what you are doing!
